In a World of Pain

We have shared our love in this world without mercy...
A place of doubt and lies...
Nevertheless, we found sanctuary in the arms of each other

We have controlled our emotions...
Left the questions hanging and kept the bad things away...
For a time we were in the arms of each other.

We never forced our hearts to love one another...
Ignored the uncertainty so that our love will blossom...
I have no regrets with the time that we spent...in the arms of each other

We have traveled away from our fears...
Knowing the beauty of what we have...
Never knew that the door will close...without the arms of each other.

We have enjoyed the vision of being together...
The wish of spending time...in each others arms...
In this world of pain.
